Should I become a PR?- Parent Edition

If you are reading this article, chances are, you have elderly parents you have been thinking of applying for Singapore PR. Unfortunately the privilege of sponsoring elderly parents is only extended to Singapore citizens.

Permanent Residents are only able to sponsor their spouse and any unmarried children under the age of 21. Parents of Permanent Residents can reside in Singapore on other visas. Such visas include but are not limited to the Long Term Visit Pass and Short Stay Visa.

5. Professional expertise
6. Familial ties

Other factors not included in this list are social integration efforts and charitable contributions.
